The autonomous community of Murcia is located on the southeast coast of the Spanish peninsula, bordered by the provinces of Alicante, Granada, Almería, Albacete and the Mediterranean Sea.
The Murcian coast stretches from the tranquil waters of the Minor Sea to the stunning cliffs of Aguilas. The most popular vacation an be found towards the north, while the southern part of the coast is quieter.
The town of San Pedro de Pinatar, of Roman origins, in the northwestern part of Murcia, was recently declared a Regional Park.
